Mansion Hotel

Great house badly managed! Heavy odor from sewer pipes in room 1602, which we had to change and ice cold hot breakfast with greasy soft bacon, miniscule bread and garlic flavored peas.. Needs urgent staff training!

Marvellous house which has been carefully refurbished years ago but since then badly groomed. What a pitty for this hughe potential this hotel has. The carpets need urgently replacment, cabinets tend to fall apart and the cleanliness is not always suffiecient. Breakfast is a joke... Defently overpriced! Go there only if you're retro-design enthusiast since it's really worth to see it, but having a coffee in the lobby is probably the better idea than to stay overnight. What a pity!!!

This hotel is FABULOUS! If you like boutique hotels with a generous dollop of history its for you! Our room was unreal, huge with a terrace and a bathroom to die for! Sumptuously appointed with velvet and antiques yet all the modern conveniences you would want. The rooftop long was a great spot for a drink and the front courtyard another great spot to rely and enjoy a drink under a gazebo by a gorgeous pond. Located in the French Concession area, this hotel is walking distance to the subway and a myriad of streets overloaded with boutiques and restaurants. Safe and clean with well lit walkways we enjoyed strolling and shopping each night after dinner. Highly recommend this spot!
