Days Hotel Insun Shanghai

It’s far from the city centre (takes about 30mins via taxi and cost 70RMB) and the nearest station is far too. Run down and poorly maintained. Our room on the 5th floor was very dusty and on top of that air condition didn’t work!!!!! Only the fan worked. When we informed this we were asked to open a window ! However in the end we managed to get the Air condition to be switched on to the entire floor. Breakfast spread is nothing to mention and far below than the other hotels we stayed.

I stayed here for six nights in October 2018. The room cleanliness was good and the staff were very friendly. The main problem is the air conditioner. It was hot so we turned it on. It wasn't working, it was making the room hotter. At the hottest, it was 33 degrees Celcius! We had to get someone to fix it but they couldn't. The next complaint is when I checked in, I got one card for 8521 and 8501 but the staff told me I was in 8421.

Stayed at this hotel after leaving our cruise ship for two days. Booked a executive room and was clearly statedon our booking form. We was sent to a separate block that was clearly the worst rooms of the hotel. After much effort we where given the room we had paid for. This was a needless stress we could have done without. Location is fine, but a long way from the nearest rail station. Inhouse restaurant was nothing to write about and Breakfast poor standard. Staff where helpful, but could not speak much English. Personally for the point of a tourist you need to find a hotel in a better location unless you like to book taxis to get into the main areas.
