Whilst it’s a holiday inn, it is very much not a western friendly hotel. Children running around in the corridors at midnight, only one member of staff able to speak English and an undercurrent of anti westerner sentiment amongst many of the staff. Avoid if you can

Friendly english speaking staff welcome to hotel make me feel comfortable at fitsr step in hotel. Room was ordinary , nothing to complaint. It was also properly cleaned . Breakfast was more Chinese style with a bit western food and no fork and knive available. Real coffee was also avaialble (no spoon to stirr sugar on it)

Oh dear, this hotel is not 'Grand' and is dated and needs updating. We couldn't run a bath as there was no hot water, carpets in the bedrooms were stained, room lighting was very poor, breakfast was 90% oriental selection and very little for westerners. We only stayed for one night as we were on a private trip visiting the Yungang Caves and Huayan Temple,so whilst it was well located, it wasn't our favourite or best hotel on our autumn tour of China. This hotel really does need some money investing in it.
