We had a truly wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts Chengdu Panda Garden. The upgraded room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for my family after a long day. The hotel’s location is unbeatable for anyone planning to visit the Panda Base, especially early-morning visitors who like to see the super star Hua Hua. Being able to get there quickly and easily made the experience even better. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly and considerate, especially for family travelers. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were attentive throughout our stay. I also appreciated how they recognized my Platinum Elite status—it added a personal touch that made the stay feel even more special. A special thank you to Alex at the front desk, whose professionalism and kindness stood out. Alex went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and comfortable for us. Overall, this hotel delivered comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. I look forward to staying here again.

I stayed at Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden during my time in Chengdu, and it’s a great option if visiting the pandas is high on your itinerary. The hotel is located very close to the famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which makes it incredibly convenient for an early visit — something I would highly recommend to see the pandas at their most active. The hotel itself is spacious and comfortable, with a more resort-style feel compared to city centre hotels. The rooms are well sized and provide a relaxing place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a large selection of both local and international options. There was plenty of choice, making it easy to find something you like and start the day well, whether you prefer a Western-style breakfast or want to try local dishes. The hotel also has good facilities, including a swimming pool, which is a nice bonus if you want some downtime during your stay. It adds to the relaxed atmosphere and makes it feel more like a retreat than just a place to sleep. The main downside is the location relative to the city centre. It is quite far from downtown Chengdu, so if you’re planning to explore areas like Chunxi Road or other central attractions, you’ll need to factor in travel time, either by taxi or ride-hailing apps. I would recommend Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden for anyone prioritising a visit to the panda base or looking for a quieter, more relaxed stay. It’s especially well suited for families or travellers who don’t mind being outside the city centre in exchange for comfort and proximity to one of Chengdu’s most famous attractions.

It's really a great hotel, from the moment of check-in, feeling the utmost care. Special thanks to the front office staff for the follow-up throughout the process. First of all, the hotel's excellent location and convenient surrounding transport make it easy to reach popular attractions and the surrounding dining and shopping areas. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, decorated in a minimalist style without losing touch, giving a warm and comfortable feel. The room was bright, clean and spotless, and the beds were soft and comfortable, making it seem like a peaceful world to lie down in, and all the fatigue dissipated instantly. Room facilities are also very complete, from basic toiletries to modern electrical equipment, everything I need. Moreover, the soundproofing of the room is so good that even if there is the sound of a vehicle outside, it will not affect the quiet inside. The staff were super friendly, from the warm reception at check-in to the attentive service during your stay. They were always responsive to my needs and did an excellent job of providing extra towels or answering questions about the local area. The hotel's dining is a highlight, with a wide variety of breakfasts, fresh fruit, delicious pastries, hot porridge and more, each of which is delicious. The hotel also has the kids can play with the Silk Road Soldier's parent-child activities, outdoor go-karting and other good play. The hotel also offers free parking, which is very convenient for people like me who travel by car. This is a great hotel to stay in, and I would never hesitate to choose it if I had the chance to come here again.
