You can’t go wrong with Intercontinental even though I have to say that the language barrier sometimes might be a bit difficult to overcome. The staff was great and really friendly but it’s been difficult sometimes to find someone who was really capable to speak English. The structure of hotel is really unique inside Global Center (one of the biggest building in the world from what I understood). My room was in Building C and pretty much the closest to the breakfast area and swimming pools as well. The room was big and with a nice balcony, very clean but with some small (sometimes really small but I’m picky I guess) details in both room and bathroom that would need some refinement (toilet paper holder was driving me crazy every single time). Breakfast was great, you can really have whatever you want from Waffles with Maple Syrup to the local cuisine and for once black coffee (Americano) was actually a proper one. Room service wasn’t great as far as how much choice you had, food was good but with not much choice. Finally Wifi, I knew it from the start that I had to use a VPN and an eSIM card with unlimited data so I basically didn’t use WiFi but I strongly recommend anyone to get a good unlimited data plan and a reliable VPN.

When I checked in for the 1st day, the room was not clean and tidy up properly. However, when I feedback to the front desk, the duty manger has done the damage control swifty and professionally. High praise for the manager Mr Yves Su. The lounge staffs provided good service. Especially the manager Cherry and her staff Max Shi. The only downside is it's time for renovations for the hotel as it's over 10 years old as can be seen from the aging of the furniture and the door. It's high time to replace the pillows as it stinks of sweat and mould.

1 minute is worthless! Intercontinental is a well-known hotel brand, and the hotel in Sichuan Worldwide Center employs a bell boy who looks to see the hotel guests carry their luggage themselves. I witnessed this young baggage worker, and saw that we were a tour group, with no intention and attempt to prepare for work. We are a group of more than twenty people, 2 large families, including several seniors and 5 children, in addition to luggage, and two BB cars. Due to the tourist bar, parking at the front door's two-line off-line location, at 9:44pm @21/4/2025, traffic is quite busy! There are always taxis traveling to the other line of the location, we are very difficult to stop without the hotel staff to help keep the traffic in order. In addition, connect the hotel's connector to the bottle car, the flight is out! 2) According to the tour guide says she wants to pick up the housing for us in advance! It is too many people in the hotel! This experience gave me a huge discount on the branded hotel of Intercontinental
