There are plenty of restaurants within walking distant to the hotel, the only positive thing. Staff became friendlier and “helpful” after nightmare room situation, but could care less prior to it. Our original room didn’t have working outlets by the beds to charge our electronics and staff didn’t know how to use the charging cables that are provided in each room. They said they had extra cables for us but never alerted us when they didn’t have any left on our floor (not sure why they couldn’t get it from other floors). They also saw us waiting in line, not being from China, we’re accustomed to wait/provide enough space, where as local Chinese would just cut in as soon as one of the front desk staff is done helping someone. They never said anything to them about waiting in line. Then our room had clearly mold on the shower floor, the bath tube had a crack and hair all over the drain, and stains all over the closet walls. Staff unhappily agreed to move us. Gave us another room, which turned out to be occupied by another couple already. There were lots of disagreements so the the staff on what to do next. I finally asked and offered to pay for an upgrade myself (we were with a group and staying for 4 nights, otherwise I’d move to a new hotel). We were finally given the upgraded room, but the tube wasn’t working and there was no hot water in the bathroom sink section. Mini fridge did not work. No fan in the bathroom. No one in our group was happy with their rooms. Will not be staying here again and cannot recommend to anyone who cares about cleanliness.
