Holiday Inn Express Tianjin City Centre

This is a GREAT hotel. We opted for It because it was cheaper than those looking over the river, and the great reviews. No disappointments! The staff is superb, the breakfast amazing (we stay for 5 nights and there were different options every day), the rooms are flawless, amenities of good quality, wifi fast and stable, no complaints whatsoever. The only we could ask for is a heating system for the gorgeous indoor pool, unfortunately too cold to be used. One needs transportation to the main attractions, but taxis are affordable and traffic - at least the time we were there - very very easy.

It was a horrible stay. when we arrived we found all receptionist were sleeping and we tried to wait them up. After that they could not find our reservation. We were very tired and we lost two hours from 1:30 am to 3:30 am to check-in . and at the end they took more money than the old reservation and because of them we lost a day to find another hotel. we were so hungry as we stayed long time for check-in s we asked for a in room dinning so they told us that they don´t have Food and beverage service so we slept hungry in uncomfortable place and the breakfast was horrible and plates were not clean it was the worst place i have stayed in ever!

Hotel is well located with shopping malls within walking distance. Room is spacious and looks like recently renovated.Stayed on 19th Flr with unblocked view. Breakfast was included with fairly wide chinese selection and limited western menu. Good wifi and hotwater. Major issue was the aircon and seems like it was never upgraded as it was not possible to cool the room inspite of the technicien coming and fiddling with it. House keeping was not satisfactory as the room was not made up the next day and we had to call to get it done. Self service laundrymat available.
