Holiday Inn Tianjin Riverside

My check-in at Holiday Inn Tianjin Riverside was seamless, setting the tone for a truly enjoyable stay. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and attentive service. A special mention goes to Ashley at the front desk, who was professional, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. She was always courteous, approachable, and more than happy to assist with any questions I had throughout my stay. The level of service from the entire team was consistently outstanding. Every staff member displayed genuine care and attention to detail, creating an experience that was both comfortable and memorable. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight was undoubtedly the beautiful view overlooking the Haihe River and the iconic Tianjin Eye, which was especially stunning after sunset. The hotel's location is another major advantage. The river cruise terminal is directly opposite the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy a cruise along the Haihe River. In the evenings, the atmosphere becomes even more vibrant, with local buskers performing just outside, adding a lively touch to the riverside experience. The Tianjin Hop-On Hop-Off sightseeing bus also stops just a short walk from the hotel, making it an excellent choice for visitors with limited time who want to explore the city's main attractions. In addition, a bustling food street is located right beside the hotel, offering an excellent opportunity to sample a wide variety of authentic local cuisine.Housekeeping also deserves recognition for maintaining the room to a high standard throughout my stay.If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be the café, which offers a rather limited menu. The television channel selection could also be enhanced. Most channels were local, and while Channel News Asia was available (listed as Mediacorp), it would be great to see more international entertainment and documentary channels such as AXN and National Geographic. Overall, Holiday Inn Tianjin Riverside delivers excellent service, spacious accommodations, and an unbeatable location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tianjin.

Room is of good size, and it has everything that I need for a short stay. Member’s benefits are well taken care of. It’s right opposite to the Tianjin Eye. So, it offers a marvellous view of the river and Tianjin at night. Not well served by the subway. Likely that you’ll need a taxi to get around. Taxi in Tianjin is cheap and so it’s not really a problem. If you can use Apps in China, then it’s rather convenient. Why 3-star then? Because the air conditioning is not working well. This is an issue raised by many reviewers. So, I believe it’s structural. When it has cool air coming through the window, then gradually it’s OK. But this is unacceptable. I opened my two windows and so was minimally affected.

It was a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Tianjin Riverside. The warm and thoughtful service was impressive, and the front desk staff was professional and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities, especially the charming scenery of Haihe River outside the window. The hotel has rich and delicious food, and the breakfast is varied and delicious. Convenient transportation, and many attractions can be reached within walking distance. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay experience and I would recommend it to other travelers.
