Hongfu Hotel

Stayed in 2 different rooms at separate times here. Both rooms were smelled smoky. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Hotel staff are helpful but barely speak English -so make sure to install your translator app. Good location with lots of eateries and shops nearby. Nice Uyghur restaurant about 3minutes walk.

Be aware of changes to the room price from what is listed on the website. There is no regard for the published price - the rate I booked online went up 50% and the only comment was "sorry, the website isn't updated".... Seems a bit unethical to me!

It was fine for a short stay, and the gym is pretty decent, but the slow helpless staff leaves a mediocre impression. I would recommend it only if it appears a good location for your plans, otherwise look further.
