Xishuangbanna Century Jinyuan Hotel

I visited Jinghong aka Xishuangbanna n March 2025 for a weekend vacation. I'm an American female solo traveler with very basic Mandarin skills and it was not a problem to have great service at this hotel. Jade works at the hotel and was incredibly kind and helped me with everything. Her delightful service made my whole experience go from very good to excellent--she is a valuable asset for all English speaking guests. The room was clean, spacious and had a nice view at a reasonable price point. I could walk to Manting Park and take a quick Didi to other tourist attractions. Empark's prime location next to a large golf course gives the hotel a serene feeling, yet you're still close to all the action and can see the beautiful river and neon buildings from the glass elevator. The hotel food is decent, and there are some nice local touches like having a tea room in the lobby as well as a big night market within walking distance (everything at about half the price of Gaozhuang). Overall, very good location and quality to price ration, with Jade's outstanding service elevating my experience to Excellent!

Hotel is up to standard. Very clean and safe Mattress is comfortable and shower has good heating and water pressure. Hotel front desk is friendly as well. However the drawback is that there is a slight smell from the outside.

The accommodations were great. The service was very good. The room was well equipped. The AC worked. The breakfast buffet was well stocked. I especially liked the noodle soup. The only downside was the lack of a bar in the hotel. There were numerous small eating places within walking distance. I enjoyed the night market which operates daily except when it rains.
