This hotel is centrally located at the intersection of a busy area in Hangzhou. One can still walk towards West Lake from here for a stroll. Surrounding it are mostly high-rise commercial buildings, banks and some eateries. Can be quite noisy at night as the roads seem to be very busy throughout the night with cars honking incessantly. The breakfast spread has a nice selection. Most of the staff are not well-versed in English but they try their best to accommodate. Was there twice. The executive room is comfortable and spacious. Be careful when walking out from the hotel to the streets. The pavement just outside the hotel are for bikes and scooters, and these vehicle can zoom past very fast. There is a convenience store nearby, and eateries are within walking distance. Nice location for business travelers as it's in town. May not be comfortable for those who would prefer a quieter rest area for their holiday.

Midd-class hotel for business and leisure traveller. Good rooms, although the ceilings in the rooms are a bit lower than usual. Breakfast just Chinese and some toast and eggs. That's it. Great restaurant on the 2nd floor (european) and good chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor. Minor point is lack of English speaking staff. Often you have to write it down before they will understand; but that has it's charms too.. Very centrally located, good price and great service.

We engaged a private company trip for a group of 10. This hotel was arranged by my travel agency. The size of the room is pretty small but considerably clean, toilet is okay with a glass standing shower. The only thing I wish to complain is all the rooms are terribly, horribly hot. I was there on 12 Dec 2008 and temperature dropped to about 8C at night. The moment I stepped into the hotel, I knew it was warm. Along the way to the hotel rooms, the walk way was so very hot. Upon entering the room, I feel like tearing my clothes apart coz the room was super hot. If you turn on the aircon during winter time (like now), it will be hot air coming out. There is no way to cool the room unless you open the window and the window was so tiny. All other 4 rooms belonging to my colleagues are also hot and humid. To emphasize how hot the room is, I showered in cold water , wore shorts to sleep and kept the window open throughout the night. There is nothing outside the hotel. I guess this hotel does not cost that much. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.
