Hangzhou Sofitel Westlake Hotel

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by the team at Sofitel Hangzhou Westlake during my stay in Room 467 from 19 to 24 June 2026. Throughout our stay, my family and I were consistently impressed by the warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality demonstrated by the hotel team. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, attentive and eager to help. It is evident that the hotel is well managed and that there is a strong culture of guest recognition and service excellence. While all the staff deserve praise, I would like to highlight a few team members with whom we had the pleasure of interacting. Roy and Selina, who handled our check-in on 19 June, made my family and me feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. They handled the process efficiently while patiently explaining the hotel’s facilities and benefits in a clear and friendly manner. Their attentiveness and positive attitude created a wonderful first impression. I would also like to recognize Zhu Jian Ping from the restaurant team for his exceptional attentiveness and thoughtful service. On the first morning, my young nephew requested plain steamed white rice which was not included in the breakfast buffet. Thereafter, Mr. Zhu Jian Ping would proactively look out for him and have the rice prepared without us having to ask again. Such thoughtful anticipation of guests’ needs and genuine care are hallmarks of outstanding hospitality. Robin and Anthony were equally helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond in assisting us with tracing parcels delivered to the hotel, giving us great peace of mind. They were also generous with their local knowledge, helping us with arrangements and recommending places of interest such as Lingyin Temple. Their assistance and willingness to help greatly enhanced our experience in Hangzhou. I would also like to commend Ms. Huang Yanping (黄艳萍) from the housekeeping team. She consistently ensured that we returned each day to a clean, fresh and well-maintained room, complete with neatly arranged amenities and fresh linen. Her attention to detail and dedication behind the scenes contributed greatly to our comfort and made our stay especially pleasant. As a frequent guest of Accor properties, I have come to appreciate that it is the people who make the difference. The warmth, professionalism and sincere hospitality demonstrated by the team transformed what would have been a pleasant stay into a truly memorable one for my family. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team. The colleagues mentioned above simply happened to be those with whom we interacted most closely, and I would like to highlight them for their exceptional service. Nevertheless, every staff member we encountered reflected the same high standards of hospitality, which speaks volumes about the management and culture at Sofitel Hangzhou Westlake. Thank you once again for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to returning in the future.

I recently stayed at Sofitel Hangzhou Westlake on 9 June 2026 and had to extend my stay due to a medical emergency. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the hotel team for their exceptional care and support during this difficult time. The staff promptly assisted in calling an ambulance, which arrived within five minutes. I am also especially thankful to the concierge team for kindly offering to accompany me back to the hospital for my follow-up review. In addition, I would like to commend the Housekeeping team for their prompt and attentive service while I was recovering in my room. Special thanks to Manager Jiang and Chen Bao for their thoughtful assistance in ensuring my room was kept clean, fresh towels were provided, and amenities were regularly replenished. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication made a challenging situation much more comfortable, and I truly appreciate the outstanding hospitality shown throughout my stay.

Super satisfied with this hotel! It’s located right in front of the beautiful West Lake, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. I’m also incredibly thankful to the team and housekeeping staff who found my electric bidet after I checked out and, without hesitation, arranged to send it to my hotel in Shanghai. That level of honesty, care, and customer service is truly appreciated. Grateful for all your help and kindness. Keep up the great work, and I would definitely stay here again! 😊🙏
