Very dirty, old furniture, dirty and battered. I got a chimen (cockroach) in the room, the hot water from the shower took about 10 minutes, the old and broken towels, no one speaks English, it is a problem to communicate. All wrong, it's not a 5 star hotel I would give it 1 😰

Staying in Hangzhou just for a night. The room is spacious, and they provided a little play tent when they knew I was travelling with a kid. Thoughtful. The location is quite decent, with shops and shopping malls nearby. Overall, nice hotel to stay in!

I’ve stayed here twice in just over a week. On both occasions the Wi-fi hasn’t worked in my room and barely works in reception. Not what I expect from a hotel “in the heart of the business district”. It’s simply not acceptable that I have to sit in a busy public area to make a phone call to my wife. Once I can accept, things go wrong occasionally but a week later to have done nothing to fix it and still be coming out with the same excuses doesn’t wash. Just had to wait 10 minutes and ask 3 times for a refill of a breakfast item that had run out. On my first stay, and despite asking for a non-smoking room, I was given one that reeked of cigarette smoke. I know this is China and people smoke everywhere, but they have non-smoking floors and they didn’t have a problem re-allocating my room to one of them. They should have done it correctly in the first place. This is a hotel which needs to step back and re-focus on providing the basics that any business traveller can reasonably expect before describing itself as either an upmarket hotel, or one that is suitable for business travellers.
