The hotel is located right on Xihu. I loved the atmosphere, but the hotel was quiet big. The rooms are very modern, and the blinds closed by itself. The hotel is quiet expensive, but it included free photo session and a buffet coupon. The hotel is extremely clean, with a free mini-bar. The service is unmatched with the staff checking on us quite often. They also would carry our bags for us and up the golf cart.

First time to Hangzhou, first time to visit Westlake. Best decision ever to choose this hotel for a family birthday celebration. Staff were super accommodating and friendly. Upon check in they upgraded our booking of 2 rooms to Building 6, newly renovated and so comfortable! Love all the amenities and especially the beautiful cups and tea in room. Breakfast was okay, not top notch. But with this private secluded access to Xihu, and such beautiful views, our stay was soooo memorable! Their concierge service was amazing, thank you for helping us arrange a trip to 九溪and 龙井村.Thank you 西子宾馆！

A beautiful hotel located on the bank of the West Lake. Hotel campus is very pretty and buildings are old fashion one story or two story traditional style Chinese buildings, but with recent updates and modern facilities. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful with all requests. Breakfast buffet has a large variety of local and western choices. Free mini bars and daily fresh fruit. Hotel has its own lake cruise boat which departs from its own ferry, and a free daily afternoon tour of the property with its history and tourist sights. Hotel has decidated children's program too. Acess the nearby attractions (the Leifeng Pagoda, the Jingci Temple, and the 1.8 mile Su Causeway with a few other famous attracitons) directly from the property side entrances.
