Hangzhou Dahua Hotel

Travelling with my mother, the hotel is well located and the service is sweet. Stayed at the hotel to give away the amazing traveler experience is good, the production is great. It's been a great trip ~

Dahua Boutique Hotel is a stunning 5-star resort, and an historical property, on the banks of West Lake. The lobby area is spectacular, and our room was comfortable and luxurious. The Lobby Bar offered a delicious, light dinner, alongside a marble pond of koi. Breakfast faces the lake, with beautiful views, and a full selection of Chinese and Western specialties. The location is ideal, offering strolls (during the day, as well as with a lively evening crowd) along the lake, and also into the adjacent shopping area. Our stay was memorable.

Stayed here with work recently. This hotel has the best location, right on the shores of the beautiful West Lake and with a back foot that hotel guests can use to get direct access to the path along the shore. Big lobby building with bar (and open fish pools, not ideal for kids!) and some guest rooms. Then a few other building which are separate but within the hotel complex host the other bedrooms and meeting rooms. I think I had a fairly standard room but it was fine - clean, decent bathroom, good plugs etc. Bed was rock hard but this is to be expected in Chinese hotels in my experience. WiFi very patchy - mine was fine but most of my colleagues had problems. Food was ok - no western options (Except some at breakfast) but reasonably good Chinese food. Just next to the hotel is a cute area of small bars and restaurants- for authentic and cheaper Chinese food I recommend eating there instead. Very Friendly staff but almost no-one spoke a word of English. Asking for more tonic in my glass of gin (hotel bar, limited options!) was comedy gold :)
