World Expo Hotel Zhejiang

I have stayed here several times over the past few years. It is more interesting now that the Shopping Centers have opened up nearby. Starbucks is a 3 minute walk away. There is a large KTV adjacent to the hotel. The seafood restaurant which is a short walk through the car park is excellent. Second floor Japanese and third floor Chinese restaurant are both good. Make sure you have WeChat or google translate ready as no one spoke English.

It is a local hotel that is trying to also cater to international traveler. The staff English is very poor. If not for traveling with my Taiwan business partner, I would have trouble communicating for even simple requests, like iron board or laundry pick-up. The rooms are nice, clean, comfortable. If you are looking to watch "western" TV at night, you won't find many channels here. This was my third stay here and would come back, as it is one of the "best" selections you will find in the area.

I stayed here one night and the stay was fine. The room was large, comfortable and nothing was broken. The breakfast was nice with a large selection of Chinese and western dishes. The only problem was that at checkout I couldn't seem to get the point across that I wanted to check out by going to reception.
