Best Western Jinhua World Trade Hotel

Stayed for 4 nights. First, don't be fooled, this is NOT the Best Western anymore. This is typical of a Chinese hotel. High on show, low on maintenance and attention . The place is shabby. They say they have non-smoking rooms; but not really. We got a non-smoking suite. When she arrived at the room there was an ashtray with matches and the room stunk of stale cigarettes. We called and someone came to 'clean' the room. What a joke; the service person poured some cleaning fluids on the carpet. I cleaned all the ashes stuck to the mirrors which improved the smell along with some extensive airing out AC + open windows it was 'decent for china'. You might ask why we didn't leave, well it's china, no one respects the rules and 'everyone' smokes. There's little chance we'd have find a better room. Also the exercise room is worn out and not air conditioned.

We were there back in April 2016 checked in to suite room and no soaps and shower gel and nor drinking water or other amenities. No one was able to speak English at this International hotel. After 30 minutes I was able to get some shower gel and finally I understood that we have to wait for the other things tomorrow ( we checked in around 6 pm ). Breakfast was a Joke. Nothing western at all. Dirty tables and not enough food . Milk was finished at 9 :15 am and when I asked the lady that had black uniform ( most likely like a supervisor ) with broken English she just said wait and we never see anything. There was no Refill on anythings after 9:15 and only things kind of was available was Chinese noodle soup which wasn't cooked enough. It was very disappointing to pay over 200 USA dollars for such an lovely hotel that was worth it only $20. Would I recommend this hotel to anyone ?? NO WAY .. It is just a name and managed by unprofessional staff and not to mention that the air conditioning of the room wasn't working at all and no way that anyone cared to fix it. As much as I loved the city but unfortunately this hotel was the worst in China.

I stayed at this Hotel for Business. I found it save, clean and well appointed. The desk staff was good but lacked much English. Hotel was very convenient for the business I needed to conduct. I would recommend to those coming to the area.
