Jinjiang Inn Jinhua Binhong Road

Went there while getting my admission done to zhejiang normal university which was few kilometers away. I had to struggle a bit while reservation as my chinese was not that fine, but although managed. I ultimately extended my stay for 2 more days after getting good service and nice ambience of the hotel

Now in small towns like Jinhua you are best to book with a chain like Jinjiang, or wanda realm. They arent up to western standards but compared to local hotels they are the Taj Mahal. Smaller centers ( Tier 3 or 4 cities) bear no resemblance to Shanghai and Beijing and you need to understand that or you are going to be an unhappy camper Also make sure you book the a or b room. Never the c since it wont have a window let alone water. Water is 10 rmb a bottle which is 5 times the going rate The rooms are tired by western standards but clean and decent sizes. I have been visiting China for 20 plus years and I can tell you that in small centers this is pretty much as good as it gets. More importantly is clean, and maintained Until Holiday or other western chains appear this and the wanda chain are your best options. They are clean but sparse but for 20 odd bucks a night you shouldn't be expecting Buckingham Palace either. As a foreigner I would suggest in Jinhua this is a good choice if you dont want to pony up for the Wanda Realm

Average location, oppositing to the municipal library, a 15-20 mins walk to the shopping area... Average service attitude, I mean standard, not bad, either nothing remarkably good... Plentiful amenities, you could find basic hospitality amenities inside the room... Wifi unavailable in the room, that was unacceptable for the youth in any case...
