New Century Hotel Ninghai

The hotel is located in the middle of the city of Ninghai (small city for Chinese terms), next to a big mall and the business district. There are a lot of restaurants around the corner, not only inside the mall, but also surrounding the mall. The hotel itself is old, it is a bit outdated compared to the other modern hotels in China. But when comparing it with the price, it is definitely worth it! I payed just 45 Euro’s. The hotels service is fine, but breakfast could be better and the employees do not speak english, so a translation app is nice to have. Ow, and my view from the room was also a good plus!

We were not sure what to expect from this hotel , and for sure there is no room service or restaurant to dine in the evening , we had breakfast at the lobby. The room was ok clean but had a issue with AC so they gave me a fan .

After being in work for over 12 hours I thought I'd go to my room and order some room service. The room service call handlers have trouble speaking English so it was hard to get my order across. After trying to get my order completed I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. When I phoned back I was told that it would be there in 3 mins. After waiting another 20 I phoned again to be told that part of my order was unavailable. I complained that I was hungry, it was late and that I'd been waiting over an hour! Around 5 mins after my food arrived an hour and a quarter after I'd ordered it. Minus part of my order with solid, cold French fries. Don't bother with the room service, it's not worth the weight and I had no sincere apologies, in fact the lady at the other end of the phone could only giggle. Absolutely dreadful service. Room 1906!
