Ex Palm D'or Hotel

A real find in Wenzhou, this hotel is lovely inside and is located close to many restaurants and bars. The rooms are very nice with all the require facilities, it is a homey hotel and very comfortable. The service is excellent and I will be staying again on my next visit.

This hotel as pointed out by many is located in a busy cross road with traffic right round the clock. some times heavy and at other times light. The room was small but was quite inviting. The day was hot and I discovered the air conditioner in the room was ineffective and the air inside the room a bit stale. Opening the glass door over looking the street below was quite effective. The room cooled down albeit with the air hovering over the traffic below. The front office staff was very helpful and they brought in a pedestal fan and the room became comfortable. The food in the dining hall had a buffet meal but I opted for a plate of grilled salmon which was very good. Here again the staff was quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was mix of Chinese and European and was quite enjoyable. The complimentary internet in the room was good . Over all the hotel was good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

A nice decorated hotel in European style. Marble floors. Small rooms with comfortable beds. Rooms are a bit noisy from street outside. Small bathroom but functional. OK breakfast but not spectacular. Friendly and helpful staff.
