Red Sun Hotel Wenzhou

Rooms are small, very close to railway station. Good under ground market near by. also bus terminus near by, many shopping marts also. Best for Solo Travelers. Rooms are Tidy and decent. Value for money, good for 1 to 2 nights stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business, booked it coz it was close to the train station, just a 5 minute walk away. Positives: 1) 5 mins from train station. 2) 24 hour convenience store in the lobby. 3) Provision of ethernet and cable in the room. Negatives: 1) Receptionist told me I shouldn't stay there coz the quality of the rooms are real bad for the price I'm paying LOL! 2) Leakage coming from the mini-fridge leaves a perpetually wet stain on the carpet near the toilet. 3) Thin windows facing the street, very noisy. Will be a problem if you are a light sleeper. 4) Very old and in need of repair. I was planning to stay at the Jinjiang Inn which is closer to the train station, unfortunately, they were full. This was the next best option. Perhaps, for Chinese standards, this may be a good place to stay... but if you're used to western hospitality, this is a bad choice. If I do come back to Wenzhou in the future, I would hope to book a better place, I do not foresee myself coming back to this hotel.

Fairly clean,kinda noisy. Right beside train station so it's easy if you're traveling by train. Only ethernet in room,no wifi. There's a 24hr convenient store in the lobby.
