Novelty Suites Hotel

I stayed for 4 nights at the end of the year in Medellín at the Novelty Suites hotel, located in the Milla de Oro area of El Poblado, at 4 Sur Street #43A-109. I made the reservation through the Central Reservations for €389. The room had a view and included breakfast. It was quite large and on the 14th floor. It had a huge desk, a flat-screen TV, a paid minibar, a wardrobe with several hangers, an iron and ironing board, bathrobes, and a safe. I saw that there was also laundry service available. The bathroom was equally large, with a spacious shower and a glass partition. There were bottles of gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Other items included a shoe-shining sponge, a bottle of gel, a shower cap, a sewing kit, a bottle of mouthwash, and a hairdryer. On the 15th floor, there is a bar restaurant with panoramic views open until midnight, as well as a gym, sauna, and Turkish bath. On the ground floor, there is another restaurant open until 8:00 PM. Breakfast is served here from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and I found it sufficiently varied, with fruit (papaya, pineapple, banana, melon, etc.), lactose-free and regular milk, almond drink, cheeses and cold cuts, tomatoes, eggs prepared to taste, typical breads, and pastries. I took advantage of the arrival day, which was late, to have lunch at the hotel restaurant. The menu is varied. From the restaurant, you can access the shopping center Oviedo via a walkway, although I did not go any day. The area is quite quiet, and I did not hear any noise. The area is quite peaceful, and I did not hear any noise. The Llera park area in El Poblado will be about 2 km at most, and taking an Uber is not expensive at all.

Great hotel in Poblado. Large comfortable rooms, excellent attentive staff complete services and facilities. Everything works as it should. Comfortable bed, reliable shower and wifi. Rooftop bar has a great view and sauna steam welcome after a long day discovering Medellin. The gym is small but excellent gym 5 minutes away with day use SmartFit. Staff could not have been more accomodating.

Excellent location, reasonable rates and quality of service. A varied and very complete breakfast buffet. Accessibility in transportation.
