What a joy this place is! Hotel Porton is an elegant boutique hotel. The main floor is gorgeous and filled with fragrant flowers, beautiful furniture and art, and a lovely fireplace. A separate bar and restaurant adjoin the main floor, and we really enjoyed both. The gruyere mushrooms, Argentinian steak, chocolate lava cake, Malbec wine, and cocktails were our favorites. Our room was also cheerful with a very nice view. Service is top notch, and the staff would do anything to help us. Even before we arrived, the front desk answered our questions promptly. They arranged our round trip transportation between the airport and the hotel as well as transportation to and from other locations in the city and the hotel. They were friendly and kind throughout our stay. They even came to our room on our last night and wrapped up paintings we had purchased so that we could safely pack them in our luggage. The bar and restaurant staff were similarly accommodating and treated us like family. Every night they ensured that we had sanitized bottled water needed for medical equipment. The maid service is no different. They graciously followed our specific directions. The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood, and within distance of great shopping and eating. It was a terrific experience!
