Hotel Casa Quero is one of those rare places that has true character and warmth. It’s quaint and charming, with so much personality that you feel like you’re staying in someone’s beautiful old home instead of just a hotel. What really made my stay special was the incredible staff — they felt like family by the time I left. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and most of the staff doesn’t speak English, the warmth and kindness bridged any language gap, from being greeted during the day by Monica and Ed managing the desk, and coming back each night, ringing the bell and seeing the same night guard felt comforting, like coming home. Breakfasts were a highlight — freshly made to order every morning by Anna, the head chef, who is an absolute delight. One of my favorite memories was arranging a special lunch cooking experience with her — we cooked together, laughed, and instantly became friends. If you’re looking for a hotel with charm, heart, and people who make you feel truly welcome, I can’t recommend Hotel Casa Quero enough. I can’t wait to come back.
