Punta Faro

It has been a wonderful experience!! The staff is super mega friendly and the beach is impressive!!! The only thing we didn't love was the food, which was a buffet, and if you arrived a little later, the food was already cold or there was none left. For the rest, I recommend it 100%.

We spent three days at a beautiful island resort, about a two-hour boat ride from Cartagena. The hotel, nestled along the island’s coast, welcomed us with a warm and inviting staff. At first, it felt like stepping onto the set of the next *White Lotus*, but from that moment on, the experience far exceeded expectations. The spacious, comfortable rooms are spread across the property, and the private beach offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The stay includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a plentiful and tasty buffet style. The resort provides a variety of activities, including snorkeling, boat tours to nearby islands, scuba diving, and cycling. Two standout features of Punta Faro would bring a return visit: first, the no-noise policy, ensuring peaceful evenings without loud music—a refreshing change from larger resorts with nonstop blaring tunes; second, the exceptional staff, who are professional, attentive, and experienced. When my partner fell ill after snorkeling, they were promptly and expertly cared for by both the staff and an on-site doctor. Punta Faro is truly a hidden gem in the Caribbean.

A paradise not far from the Colombian coast, it is worth visiting and staying for at least 4:5 days. A perfect place to spend a stay to rest after a two-week tour of Colombia. Beautiful setting excellent service and accommodation ... a seaside bungalow with stunning views. Staff always friendly and helpful. In Punta Faro full board is provided with different location for each meal. Especially in the evening the frame was truly magical by candlelight. One thing you won't find in this lovely place is music. Absolutely worth bathing in the evening with the luminescent plankton unique and fantastic experience. Everything at Punta Faro Faro is perfect ... an exceptional manager, a witty and friendly bartender. Isla Mucura and “Punta Faro” absolutely to be recommended.
