Pros: 1) Right smack in the Walled City 2) Historical, colonial, Spanish architectural charm 3) Delicious buffet breakfast 4) Pool, gymn, and all basic amenities within 5-star hotel standards 5) Attentive staff and concierge Cons: 1) Aging rooms and bathrooms need updates. 2) Be careful of quick biting mosquitoes in common areas and by the pool.

A genuinely magical experience. The hotel itself is visually stunning. A tranquil and rejuvenating environment. But the magic of this place lies in the staff, truly exceptional service and truly exceptional people. They made me feel so welcome and like I was coming home to family each time I walked into the building. The butler team: Alejandro, Jeremy, Rudy and Luis were just phenomenal. I felt so well taken care of and I have made a promise to myself that I will visit Cartagena and stay at the hotel every year. Amazing
