The room was spacious. The Staff and reception were helpful and knowledgeable. The WiFi was great. The room was very clean and I loved the hammock. This hotel is very much into saving the environment , such as using only solar power. I think that should be supported. Also, definitely competitive price wise. I would gladly stay here again..

Probably not the best location, kind of noisy. Just in the middle of a busy business street. But it’s a good choice for a quick stop and really good price. Decent, clean and very friendly staff. ILian was super helpful and nice. Rooms are spacious and with AC. Beds are comfortable.

We stayed 2 nights at the the Hotel Sicarare for the famous festival de Vallenato in April, the hotel is located on the main road of Valledupar and is considered as the tradicional hotel of the city. The room we had was quiet spacious and with a hammock next to the bed, what was kind of gracious. The AC was noisy but did the job, Valledupar has a very hot and humid climate. First day of breakfast was kind of challenging because 10 am was considered already limit of breakfast time (although the Festival means long nights out and guests sleeping in) and we had to be very patient to get our juiceand hot (!) coffee. The second morning was already an improvement in serving faster and more efficient. Even considering that the festival del Vallenato is a highlight and peak in reservation, the daily rate of 860.000 Pesos (465$) is just totally exagerated and not justified at all! The pool of the hotel has more the appearance of a fountain and has no space at all for sun chairs.
