Good location but too much noise since it is in a fairly commercial area, the cleanliness of the surfaces is not the best, a cleaning or new paint would be good. Good service and good price.

I had a bunch of extremely noisy and drunk people who made lots of noise outside my hotel window up until 4am. I complained to the front desk and the concierge did nothing. I even asked to change my room as to which the concierge just smiled stupidly. The bathroom was dirty and towels were still wet from the previous customers who slept there. I will never come back here and to be honest This whole experience ruined my Santa Marta vacation

Stayed here three nights after deciding to leave Santa Marta/Taganga. El Rodadero is a nicer area and a bit more upmarket. The Good: - Very new, furniture and fittings while cheap were useful and worked well. - Staff exceptionally friendly. Go out of way to show you where things were and generally happy to have you around - Clean and good cleaners - Very fast wifi - Very reasonably priced for area. I was shocked to see how expensive the online price was through expedia. If already around walk in and negotiate. The Bad: - AC worked but we had quite a large room - 401 - so wasn't as efficient as it would be in the smaller rooms. - Church nearby gets quite vocal. Not everyone in El Rodadero have gone to voice training classes so hymns are not particularly sonorous... The Ugly: - Absolutely nothing. Great stay with great hosts at a great price.
