Montana De Fuego

We had a wonderful time. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Special shout out to Roxana who helped us once we arrived to coordinate our adventures. To Justin (who was always at the front desk) and Brandon for always having answers to all of our questions. And to Jose for always taking care of us at the pool bar! The hot spring pools are so relaxing and the volcanic mud was incredible! Finally, the food was amazing!

By far the best part of our stay (and definitely a highlight of our trip) was the night tour with Jorge! Jorge was so friendly and welcoming to our family throughout our stay. The other staff were friendly as well and our family enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Our kids loved the pool and hot springs on site as well. Our only concern was the see through curtains in the bed rooms (that have windows spanning half of the room). In June, it begins getting light in the room prior to 5AM and despite our best efforts to keep the curtains together (with hair clips), our kids were up with the sun. Add some black out curtains and I’d give it 5 stars!

I had an unforgettable and wonderful experience at the Hotel Montaña de Fuego in Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional attention and first-class service. I want to especially highlight Jorge, who was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful at all times. His willingness to help and ensure that our stay was perfect made a significant difference in our experience. Without a doubt, I recommend this hotel to those who wish to enjoy a beautiful, comfortable place with a direct view of the Arenal Volcano and with excellent customer service. We hope to return soon!
