The Westin Golf Resort and Spa Playa Conchal

Beautiful location. Beautiful beach. It’s too bad the hotel is falling apart. Our first room’s AC wasn’t working properly. It kept the room cool but it was so humid that the sheets were damp and the kids refused to go under the sheets because it felt moist. The phone also wasn’t working so I couldn’t call for help. The second room they moved us to was moldy smelling but at this point I just didn’t want to switch rooms again. The door latches are falling off and the TV wasn’t working.

Incredible experience that had an amazing beach, pool, and accommodations. Staff was friendly and the grounds were immaculate. The wildlife and beach views were the highlights with plenty to do every day. We booked all of our activities through Erik G with the Google shirt and would highly recommend him to others. He was very honest and set our family up with a horse back riding experience on the beach that we will never forget along with a jet ski ride as well. While Mitra Market had a wide variety of food, the local cuisine was more inline with the quality you would expect from a Westin Resort. Overall, great family friendly experience and already looking forward to returning in the near future.

Highly recommend the resort. The food and service were exceptional and the accommodations were very comfortable. The beach is very clean with beautiful blue water. Do not book any tours until you visit Eric G - he is at the entrance to the beach in a blue Google shirt. Let him know what you’re interested in doing, and he will match you with the perfect excursion. His rates are very reasonable and he has a good variety of tours to choose from. He followed up the night before to remind us of the meeting time and what we should bring. Great communication! Our driver Julio was extremely accommodating and kept us safe on both of our tours. He even stopped at a pharmacy to get my daughter bandages when he learned she had a bad blister from her water shoes! Amazing vacation…
