Bosque del Mar

This is a great little boutique hotel right on the beach. It feels like you are in the rain forest the way the rooms are situated. Reception and the restaurant is all open air as well. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Rooms are clean and spacious. There are even monkeys in the trees which were cool to see. Beach was nice but it is a public beach even though hotel has a section with their own chairs. Great sunsets from this location. Food was a little pricey but that is most of the country (most in USD on exchange to their CR Colones). As it is quite hidden away, it's about a 15 min drive to the nearest town though there are a few different restaurant options within a 5 min drive or walk down the beach to other hotels.

We had an amazing experience staying at your hotel. The staff members were incredible and extremely accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and we especially enjoyed the top notch service from Carlos. The chef also prepared the fish that we caught earlier in the day. We highly recommend this clean and quiet hotel for your stay. We hope to return one day!
