Hotel Pasatiempo

I adore this hotel and this is my second time here! They have remodeled extensively and my room was amazing! The pool and nature around the place are calming and beautiful! Watch out for Can-can the one eyed cat, Roberto the iguana and el mono!!

We loved our stay at Hotel Pasatiempo! It is an amazing peaceful and quiet sanctuary under trees with enough sun and so much privacy! You will love watching the monkeys, birds, iguanas and the most adorable 2 cats! The pool is amazing and we were often the only ones in it. The staff are attentive and super helpful but also leave you alone to enjoy the property until you need them. There is a security guard every night after dark and the gate gets locked, super safe! The front desk is super helpful in answering questions and giving tips. They even took our picture every night before dinner! Everything and I mean everything is within a 1-5 min walk! Beach, bars, coffee, restaurants, shops, groceries. If you are looking for the perfect beach boutique that allows you to explore all of Tamarindo, this is def your spot!

I just came back from a 10 day stay here. I really liked it. Cute, quaint, great location, great staff, having a pool is a must and this one is a little tropical oasis in the middle of town. Can't beat the location. Quiet even at night, didn't hear any of the outside noise. Slept like a baby. I highly recommend coming here!
