Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was very disappointing. Before making the reservation, I was quoted a price of approximately ₡75,000 for the room. Later, I was offered a "discount," bringing the price down to ₡65,000 if I paid in cash or via SINPE. However, when I checked Booking.com, I found the same room advertised for only $69. I asked how such a large price difference was possible, but I did not receive a satisfactory explanation. In the end, I decided to book through Booking.com and received a confirmed reservation. After traveling approximately 250 kilometers to reach the hotel, I was informed at reception that the room was no longer available because it had supposedly been overbooked. What surprised me even more was that, after being told the room was unavailable, I checked Booking.com again and the room was still showing as available. This raised serious doubts about the explanation I was given. In addition, the customer service I received at the front desk was far below what one would expect from a hospitality business. The lack of interest in helping the customer and the way the situation was handled made the experience even more frustrating. Fortunately, I live in Costa Rica and was able to find another place to stay. However, I can only imagine the difficulties this situation could cause for international travelers who arrive after a long journey with a confirmed reservation, expecting the service they paid for. In my opinion, customers are the most important asset of any business. A hotel may have good facilities, but without honesty, reliability, and proper customer service, the overall experience loses its value. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are many other hotels in the area that offer excellent value for money and, most importantly, treat their guests with professionalism and respect. My advice to future guests is to be very careful and confirm all details before traveling to avoid finding themselves in the same situation.

Mold growing on the walls and ceiling. Room was wet on all surfaces. Jesus’ was very nice and helpful. Was not as adversed.

This place is a true, hidden gem. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is amazingly welcoming and helpful. There is wildlife all on the property each day. We saw monkeys, sloths, macaws and even an ant eater. The restaurant was a surprise treat because it looks so simple, but the food is amazing.
