Admiral Grand Hotel

The hotel didn't disappoint us. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Every member of staff we encountered were super friendly. The food in the restaurant and snack bar was very tasty and we always found something to eat. Thank you for making our holiday memorable and we will definitely be back.

The food was poor and did not meet EU standards. The water was cold. The management lacks the courage to take action. They do not enforce the rules and seem afraid to address guests about their inappropriate behavior. The price is far too high for the quality of the service, accommodation, and food. It’s a shame, because it’s a beautiful place, but I would not recommend it for families.

Let's start with the booking through Love Holidays, which was perfect in everyway. The EasyJet flight to Dubrovnik really kicked things off with the brilliant cabin crew, especially Liam. On arrival we met our transfer driver Demir who pointed out all places of interest during the journey and his cheerfulness was contagious, great introduction to Croatia. The fact that the drive to the hotel was all coastal road completing wetted out appetite for adventure, absolutely stunning scenery all the way. Arrived at the hotel around midday, we were told the room wouldn't be ready until 3pm, but they upgraded us to a different room with a balcony so we could settle in earlier, fantastic!! The beauty of this place though was the hard working, dedicated staff that we started to adore. From the guys Nudeep and Nikola operating the beach supplying fresh towels and providing tables and umbrellas on request. The beach bar staff, Novak and Jelena always greeting us with a smile and to the cooks who produced absolutely stunning meals for lunch each and every day without fail. The private beach was very chilled with stunning views across the bay and the sea so clear. The bar inside also operated by bubbly, fun happy staff that were so welcoming and friendly, Davor, Danielja and Ivana absolute legends and looking forward to visiting Mostar on our next trip ;) The restaurant provided a great range of breakfasts and dinners, it was hard to choose given the plentiful choice of beautifully cooked and highly presented dishes. I only met a couple of the kitchen staff, namely Viktoria whose passion for her work was evident in her ever present smile and positive attitude. I truly wish I was able to thank each and every staff member in the kitchen for their sheer brilliance. Every desert made in house too, which for me is a huge plus given the freshness and quality on a daily basis. The Restaurant Manager Zvonka gets a special mention, just an all round great guy who gives off an aura that makes you feel welcomed, happy and in the knowledge of being well looked after. Shout out to Nikola and Stefan too, and more importantly the hard working waitresses that looked immaculate each time and kept things moving effortlessly; Gordana, Sofija, Marie, Katarina, Anastasia (and anyone else whose names I didn't capture) my sincerest thanks to you all :)) The facilities were all exceptional, both pools were very clean and a welcome relief to the heat and the spa also provided really well maintained steam room and sauna. We had a couples massage with Tea and Milica too, a fantastic experience that left us both so relaxed and floaty I can completely recommend to anyone. Overall a highly pleasurable trip in an idyllic little town that exudes comfort, tranquillity and natural beauty. The only downside was the hangover after arriving back in the UK, its hard to overcome such an experience and honestly believe we'd underpaid for such an amazing holiday. If you're looking to get away for complete rest and relaxation then this is it, you will not be disappointed. Lastly, to all at Admiral Grand Hotel, we shall meet again!!
