Villa Sigurata

Romana met us at the taxi and walked us to the apartment. It’s a lovely location, right in the old town and just 5 mins from everywhere. It’s surrounded by eateries and shops. Romana gave us great advice on where to find the best food and experiences. The room was small yet clean and well equipped. Shower was hot and powerful. There’s no outside terrace or balcony at the Villa Sigurata. Lovely comfortable bed.

From the minute I arrived at her hotel, Romana the proprietoress was so very helpful in ensuring that I had everything I needed, directions, meeting points for tours, restaurant recommendations, transport arrangements etc. It really was quite incredible and done very efficiently and effectively. Thank you so very much Romana for making my stay in Dubrovnik at your lovely hotel such a pleasure and enjoyable time. If I come here again, no doubt where I will be staying again. Highly recommended (great location mere minutes from Pile Gate).

I loved staying at Barbara's place, which is literally 20 seconds from the main artery within Dubrovnik's Old Town. You couldn't ask for a better location, certainly not at the price. Room was absolutely spotless, with two windows (views into the neighbouring lane ways, which are the lifeblood of the city), with air conditioning, a good shower and a very comfortable bed. Compact but everything you need. The two flights of stairs didn't bother me, but you may want to ask to stay on the first floor if that's a concern for you. Barbara was most helpful, very charming, and allowed me to check in a little early. I'll be back for sure.
