IMPERIAL

Booked two suites, hotel is very old and beautiful, rooms large, bathroom much too cramped. Hotel is in dire need of renovation, doors and windows partially rotted, power lines unreliable, light flickered all night, balcony railings rusty (risk of injury), cable television useless, signal cuts out, Wi-Fi connection not secured, reception poor. On day six, power outage at 03:00 in the morning, no light, entering the bathroom only possible with a cell phone light, on the building opposite, the alarm system went off after the power outage and ran so loudly that the whole hotel was woken up. That went on until 09:30. Upon inquiry, we were casually told that the power supplier was working on it and that it had nothing to do with the hotel. Emergency generator could not even provide lighting. When you consider that the owner is the renowned German entrepreneurial family that has immense capital at its disposal, it is quite embarrassing that they were not able to ensure emergency power supply. The hotel would never have received a permit to open in Germany; in Croatia, German order apparently does not apply.

A beautiful hotel with a grand atmosphere, great breakfast, excellent facilities and extremely friendly staff.

we waited 40min for our waiter ti come to our table.He even looked at my father and ignored him. Teribble would not recommend.
