Best Western Hotel Jadran

The hotel overlooks the sea. I had a single room (clean, large enough) on the 5th floor with sea view balcony. Beautiful. Breakfast buffet very rich and varied, with several tables on the terrace overlooking the sea. Saturday and Sunday the buffet is open until 11. In front of the hotel is a platform for jumping into the sea. At the end of June the water was already warm and seemed very clean. A wonder for those who do not like crowded beaches. Swimming (or walking), in a south-east direction, you reach the beach Sablićevo, with a bar. The hotel staff is nice but not intrusive, just like I like it. The city center can be reached by bus in 10' or on foot in 25'. Fair prices (I paid about 135 € per night). I will return.

The air conditioner in the room is not working properly. The thermostat setting can be set at low temperature, but the system is not working. My co workers have same issue to their rooms. 17 rooms total. I strongly not recommend staying here.

Positive things: reception and restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful, the hammock area for sunbathing by the sea is excellent and gives an important plus to the stay and free parking in the hotel itself. Good ubication. Things to improve: smell of the room and beds (closed and poorly ventilated), the water in the shower leaked a little through the screen and in the mornings a lot of light enters the room because the curtains do not block out the light well. . Also, it would be appreciated if there was a toaster at breakfast. To be a 4**** hotel, it needs some renovations (bathroom, furniture...). However, the quality/price ratio is not bad.
