Hotel Villa Vera

This was our favourite of the hotels we have stayed in on a walking trip to Istria. The room was impeccably clean, spacious with a lovely big bed and a balcony with a park and sea view. The lady running the hotel was really friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. It is really well placed for accessing the sea and the lungomare promenade. Despite the excellent location it was really quiet overnight. Would strongly recommend.

The Hotel Villa Vera is an excellent spot in Lovran, close to both the long coastal path and the town for restaurants. The pathway leads all the way the beautiful Rijeka Gulf, pass numerous harbours, coffee shops and bars/restaurants for snacks. The hotel offers an excellent cold breakfast selection and cooked to order options as well. Very good, and the lady we saw was friendly and welcoming. The pool was a nice option after a long walk, and our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the gardens below. Lovran offers some lovely old villas and excellent places to eat, and we were keen to get out and about, so we did not eat in the hotel restaurant. However, it was a great spot to base ourselves for a couple of days.

Hotel is a lovely family run hotel the rooms are large and very clean. The sea is very close through a pretty park. The owner of the hotel is very accommodating and welcoming with a welcome drink on arrival. There is a large swimming pool and sauna.
