We had an incredible stay at Hotel Adriana. The location is excellent — right in the heart of everything Hvar has to offer. There was a minor hiccup with a reservation early in our trip, but Beri sat down with us, listened with real patience, and handled it with such grace that it completely changed the tone of our stay. His warmth and genuine care turned a frustrating moment into one of the most meaningful parts of our trip to Croatia.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was one of the best meals we had the entire trip — the quality matched everything else about the stay. As someone hoping to experience real Croatian hospitality, this was exactly it. The passion Beri and his team bring to their work is obvious, and it’s the kind of service that makes a trip unforgettable. I’d recommend Adriana and its sister hotel, Amfora, without hesitation — ask for Beri!

Twin beds with desk & tea making with kettle , safe , mini fridge which makes a warm wardrobe above it which is good for drying clothes. There is plenty of storage in wardrobes . Air conditioning is controllable with a 3 degree temperature range . v clean bedroom with supportive good beds beds and soft pillows. We thought it was an adequate size , I measured it to be 6x4 strides .Said to be 21sq m . Large powerful
shower , hand held and overhead but no way of controlling flow . It tends to wet bathroom floor if shower door is not is not completely shut, we asked for a slip mat as no grad rails .Cramped area with basin however plenty of hot water. Glass partition screens basin from room but without a door. WC was separate. Towelling gowns and slippers provided plus flannels with usual vanity products. (Better lighting is needed. )
We loved the aspect of the bedroom looking over harbour towards town .There seemed plenty of room and climbing over beds was unnecessary.
Parking (€5a day ) is close to hotel up steep path ( or longer way with 70 steps but easier) .
Hvar town is busy and attracts younger affluent people and private super yacht cruises . If you’re after a quiet holiday then maybe Hvar isn’t the best . Dining out is expensive. Hotel restaurant can be recommended . The hotel staff are exceptional in being helpful, & pleasant . The Hotel collects
luggage to & from the ferry which is 10 mins stroll along the quay (450m) . You will be impressed if staying here and the roof top bar has a great view towards the old town centre.
We stayed at hotel 10 years ago and it is just as nice and has recently been redecorated.
Must be one of the best places to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Adriana Hotel and Spa! The location is amazing, right on the waterfront, a short walk from the ferry terminal. They have a wonderful breakfast spread. The area is very walkable and very close to historic spots like the Arsenal and the old public theater. The front desk employees were very helpful with recommendations on things to see around Hvar. Hvar is such a quaint, historic town on the Adriatic and the hotel is in a prime location to explore the town.
