B&B Kastel 1700

We stayed 2 wonderful nights in Hotel Kastel 1700 in Split. The room was larger than expected and the bed very comfortable. The friendly staff carried our bags up the steps, and is going to take them to the port for us tomorrow when we leave. The breakfast was included and very nice also. Can't beat the location right inside Diocletian's Palace on the side next the Old Town also!

Great location: 2 steps from the Riva and the sea , right in the historic center of Split . Everything is at hand. Excellent welcome, very friendly and always smiling. Very clean room and no worries about comfort. We highly recommend this property

This is a hidden hotel with lots of steps. The hotel is right in heart of the town. We enjoyed the convenience of being in the city , with restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. If you have a mobility problem, this hotel as well as the old town maybe a problem for you, because there is steps everywhere! I’m going to give a little advice, that my husband and I learned quickly, travel lightly and leave the luggage at home. It was exhausting carrying one piece of luggage up the steps and the steps are all over these old cities. Also bring cash because some gelato stands, bus stands and even Uber( because I have Discover Card on file) will only accept cash.
