I've stayed in the apartment on upper floor. The apartment is located near the city centre, noise from the street is noticeable but one can always close the windows. It's in an old house which was reconstructed to a holiday rental apartment, quite succesfuly for such a property. Quite a comfortable place, only the mattress is too soft. The stairs from ground level are rather narrow and steep, but one can manage. The hosts are very kind and helpful - I thought that I've lost my keys and they immediately provided spare ones. Fortunately, I found them later. The only thing I missed was a few more cups and glasses in the kitchen cupboard.

Let's begin from the owner: not so kind in general, one of the first things she said to us was that she was surprised because we are italians and we can speak english at the same time. So sweet.
Secondly, while we were sleeping a totally random guy entered our room only saying "oh sorry sorry". We never knew who the boy was bc we never saw the owner again.
To conclude, I've never been in a smaller room in my entire life. The room is too little for 2 people, the bathroom felt like a jail cell. The only positive thing about the apartment is that it's very close to the city center.
Not recommended!

On entry to this room I was greeted with the smell of "masked over" smoke. It made me feel a bit ill actually.
The property was expensive for what it was - yes it was in a very good location, just a 2/3 minute walk to the centre - but I wish I had paid less to be further out as we didn't get much for our money!
The shower was an issue - there wasn't enough hot water for two people to shower, especially if you wanted to shower for more than 2 mins. And the shower head didn't have a holder so you have to hold and wash...annoying.
There are two windows in the room which are high up and very small and hence make the room feel very claustrophobic.
My advice is to stay further out and pay the same for a better standard of room.
