Tetyk Hotel Apts

It was a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Rooms are clean, staff are good, food is nice but lacks variety. The hotel has a swimming pool, the beach is nearby and the location is very good. I recommend.

The hotel looks great from the photos, that's where it ends. We checked in smoothly. Went straight to our room left the cases and made use of the pool and last couple of hours of sun. Went back to the room and as we started to unpack and get showered for our evening out we discovered that the room was extremely dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. Massive build up of filth around the toilet, mould around the bath and grouting. Remenats of hair from previous guests in the bedroom along with a toothpick behind the door by looking at the build up of dust, dirt, hair it had been there for sometime (room 103). We phoned reception to express our dissatisfaction. They sent two cleaners up with a bottle of spray and a cloth! We explained how dirty it is. They said not clean! Yes, we are aware - the cleaner has been in as the floors we were wet on our arrival. We then went to reception and asked to change rooms. They said the had none available despite that we looked on booking.com and there were three rooms available. Plus we were supposed to get a free upgrade to booking.coms loyality scheme. We didn't get anywhere with reception. Headed back to our rooms to get ready feeling frustrated. Later that evening upon our return the cleaners had been in the room again in an attempt to clean up. But despite a second attempt it shows their level of cleanliness is sub standard and inadequate. I messaged the hotel the next day , with a view to resolving the matter via the message service on booking.com but the hotel failed to reply! Description of kitchen facilities was tea and coffee making facilities! I'm damn sure you can't make tea or coffee without cups, teaspoon! The only facility that is provided in these apartments is a kettle, fridge and cupboards - bare cupboards! No cups, saucers, plates, cutlery! The beds are so hard and uncomfortable that I found it difficult to sleep! The hotel pool area looks nice on first view but after a few days of sunbathing you soon realise that they don't bother to clean that area too. Cigarette buts around the beds, days old pigeon sh#t everywhere. Breakfast was luke warm at best, a microwave is provided to warm things up - you'll need it! Lack of fresh fruit, the only fruit available was oranges! To be honest breakfast was ok The hotel has an overpowering smell of air fresher - I think they have an electric air fresher on 24/7 on every floor and in reception too - most likely to mask the smell of something! I'm struggling to find any positives to this hotel. The only one I can come up with is that the pool lifeguard/bar tender was friendly

Excellent hotel right on the beach with sea views. Location, location, location. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice although nothing changed during our week in residence. Staff are lovely throughout. Rooms were very big with comfortable beds. Ample parking and large pool with plenty of sunbeds situated on a very big terrace. Bar prices were very reasonable and there was also a very nice coffee shop on site. We'll definitely stay again, it was a real gem for the money.
