Eveleos Country House

Loved this place. Very rustic and peaceful with a beautiful outlook and lovely refreshing pool with terrace. The apartment was very well appointed and very comfortable. A good place to explore Cyprus from. Excellent directions to the apartments too.

We have chosen the accommodation by the reviews given. However, we were in a period when there were only German hiking groups in the accommodation. This caused a lot of noise in the early morning and evening. Our apartment was with the bedroom next to the shower window of the adjacent apartment. Our neighbor opened the window and whistled great arias, and that at 6.30am... Like he was standing in our bedroom... The pool was very cold at the end of October. The apartments are connected with wooden doors, so very noise sensitive.. The host comes and goes in a hurry. On the front door is a letter with your apartment number and the wifi data. Very impersonal. You can app and get an answer... You miss the peace you expect because of these circumstances. Location and views are great. The apartment is really authentic with a good bed, air conditioning, good shower and kitchen that has everything for a quick lunch / dinner. in the village are 2 restaurants and a minimarket. the apartments are clean and towels and sheets are changed at least twice a week. The welcome pack was very extensive. Eggs, wine, jam, bread, coffee, tea and olive oil. Very nice!! What really bothered us was the fact that the smoke detectors in the apartment had been removed. This while smoking was allowed and you could light candles. And in doing so, you are in an area prone to forest fires.

This little quiet place is nice, lovely and would get more and thus a favorable place in my ranking, BUT don’t go there if you are old, handicapped or otherwise not able to walk on uneven surfaces. I know I know, it’s Cyprus and also it’s up in the mountains, but a heads up would be nice. Besides that, go! The small pool is nice and the local cats are friendly
