Sofianna

This is an amazing hotel , the location is great - walking distance to harbour and lovely fountain near the entrance area. There are lots of great bars and restaurants nearby with a range of cuisines . The Harbour is a great place to walk and soak in the Cyprus vibes. The hotel staff were really friendly , helpful and so professional. So many staff were brilliant - a special thank you to Socrates (Chef) and Prakash ( Bar/pool) area ) They were always happy to help with arranging taxis to recommending local places to visit . The food options were very extensive from breakfast, lunch and Dinner. The variety of fruits, deserts, drinks was wondrous . WE were a group of ten and really enjoyed the theme nights and entertainment - from Bingo to dancing groups to parrot shows. A big thank you to the teams. The customer service was truly exceptional warm friendly smiles and compassion . The staff were really accommodating with our family needs . In summary we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend .

Just got home from a beautiful trip to Cyprus. We stayed at the Sofianna Resort and Spa which was so lovely. The hotel was kept so clean. Everyone worked so hard. The cleaners kept everything immaculate from the rooms right the way through the hotel. Fresh bedding and towels were replaced every two days. The pool area was so well run. Special thanks to the life guard who run the main pool Prakash who kept the whole pool area running smoothly. He collected all empty glasses and tidied up the area all day long. He helped people with their sun loungers and putting umbrella’s up and down for everyone. He made sure all the children were safe (no running or jumping) and took the time to talk to people checking if they were ok, whilst still making sure the pool was well run. Such a lovely man who worked exceptionally hard. Thank you Prakash for making our stay so good. The bar staff also work hard all day long, providing top quality drinks all day long. Nothing was off limits. The hotel restaurant was also lovely and clean and the food was really nice every day/night. There were different themed nights which was nice as it meant you were not getting the same food every single night, which can become quite tedious. Well done to the chefs 👌. The waiters and waitresses again worked extremely hard making sure tables were clean, all empty plates were collected as soon as you were finished and tables were cleaned down. They were so attentive with drinks also. Empty glasses were collected promptly and you were asked if you would like another drink which was brought up to your table so quickly. Again a special thank you to Eugenia who was so professional and got to know our orders and made sure ourselves and the children were ok and got us drinks so quickly. She worked very hard. Also a special thank you to Kripesh who also was very professional and worked extremely hard. He always had a smile on his face which was lovely to see and asked how everyone was. Thank you both. The location was good. 2 minute walk to the Harbour with loads of shops and close to the main town. We done lots of excursion's which was easy to book as Jet2 were on site at the hotel. Pick up’s were always on time and all our excursions were fantastic. Overall I highly recommend Sofianna Resort and Spa and would 100% stay again. Thanks to everyone for a fantastic stay/holiday.

It was our second time here as a family of 4 and it was just as amazing as the first time, if not better. Most of the staff remembered who we were which was lovely! Location is great, 10 minute walk to harbour with all restaurants, we went to a few which were lovely. If you fancy a “normal pint” just outside the hotel were a bar called Aces Bar, lovely Aussie guy!! The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. The rooms are good sized and have everything you need, we got a bigger room this year and it was amazing! There are a few pools, there’s the pool for the swim up rooms which gets busy, the main pool which is quieter as its deeper and the splash park and baby pool, all are fab and we just went to different pools throughout the day. There are plenty of sun-beds, some mornings it could get to 9am and still have spare so no need for the early morning get up unless you want a particular place. If by chance it’s busy and there are no beds the life guards will get you beds and an umbrella!! The staff! Everyone of them are an amazing and do an incredible job with such long hours, I don’t think management recognise them enough and see what an amazing job they do! The restaurant staff, the bar staff especially the 3 males workers, the cleaners and not to forget frank who sorted the luggage!! Thank you to you all! Lastly the lifeguards, 2 life guards that maintained both pools are amazing! As we had been the year before my little girl took a shine to him first time round and as soon as he heard “lifegaurdy” he knew she was back and remembered her which goes a long way! Tilak and Prakash Remi says she will see you next year and she misses you! 😆 My favourite place and I will definitely be back!!
