Clarion Hotel Spindleruv Mlyn

Unfortunately, we only stayed for four nights. The hotel staff was consistently very friendly and helpful. Summer in Špindlerův Mlýn is beautiful, but temperatures of almost 40 °C pose an enormous burden for the staff; nevertheless, the entire team gave their best in the morning and evening. We felt very well taken care of. When considering that the building has been in operation since 1981... Wow. It appears relatively modern and is truly beautiful. Although it has been renovated and modernized multiple times over the years, it is simply a wonderful place. An air conditioning unit would be nice in the summer, but since Špindlerův Mlýn is primarily a destination for skiers and snowboarders, it is not needed in the winter. To cool off, one can simply swim or relax in the hotel pool, which measures 12 x 6 meters and is open daily from 9:00 AM. The buffet offered a wide selection of dishes, all of which were delicious. It was also evident in the restaurant how important it was to the kitchen team to provide the guests with only the best. We were already on our way home by car when we noticed that we had forgotten something important in the room. Upon our return, we were granted immediate access and were able to retrieve the MacBook. Unfortunately, the overall experience of our stay was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the receptionist Natálie. Never more… The room could have been cleaner.

Beautiful location, staff is very nice and helpful. Hotel is VERY kids friendly so be prepared for lot of kids around, there are multiple playrooms and some swings and a slide outside. Good thing is they are not allowed in pool and sauna after 7 pm. Rooms are clean but a bit retro, space is enough. Bathroom was clean, towels and robes also. Soap smells very bad so maybe just take your own because the hotel one was NOT it. Because of the kids the noise was terrible. Not the hotel’s fault just be prepared. It’s definitely not for people who like to sleep. Breakfast was very nice, lot to choose from and fresh. Parking was no problem.
