Lindner Hotel Prague Castle

Old but very well maintained hotel in a suprisingly extremely calm and cozy part of town. That comes with parking being an issue/expensive and public transport being a little less comfortable than just hopping on the metro, but it is worth that hassle. We did have some issues with temperature control in the room and do make sure the front desk does not sign you up to their mailing lists without informing you. But overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Lindner Hotel is a part of Hyatt hotel chain and is in line with the standard expected from a Hyatt hotel. My wife and I identified several opportunities for improvement such as availability of coffee and milk sachets in the room, daily housekeeping rather than every second day etc. But general experience was good and location is great. People that arrive with their own cars need to pre-book garage and swallow 37 EUROs a day parking fee. I found that hard.

I stayed at this hotel for work reasons. I really appreciated the central location behind the castle and especially the comfort of the bed, which allowed me to get a good rest. However, I was very dissatisfied with the management of an incident that occurred not only to me but also to other colleagues in different rooms of the hotel. At 6 o'clock, there is no water, and we remain soaped up under the shower, unable to wash ourselves. The staff at the reception dismissed us with a simple: sorry, but it can happen. I would have expected a prompt response from a hotel with the Hyatt brand, with a maintenance person on-site to resolve the issue...
