Orion Hotel

Hotel very well located, close to the center and the tram or subway station. Perfect welcome upon arrival, generous buffet breakfast that is replenished regardless of your breakfast time. The staff is courteous, polite, and attentive. The hotel is located near restaurants recommended by the receptionist, away from tourists, which makes for hearty, generous meals and friendly service. The room on the 6th floor was spacious; quiet and residential neighborhood. I highly recommend this charming and human-sized hotel. Best wishes. Mr. Gerard.

First of all the hotel attendents are very friendly and helpful. Expecially Mrs Silvie. She is a good spirit of the ORION Hotel. She recomended us the apartemt with a terrace on a 6th flor - we believe the best pleace to look at Prage from above. Unforgettable moments of drinking coffe and proseco on terrace - with view of Prage at different hours of day and night will stay with us till ... the next visit :-)

We loved Hotel Orion. Multiple people who live in Prague told us it was located in one of the best areas of the city, and we agree! It is located in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of restaurants, a nice square with a fountain, a small grocery store, and a church nearby. The walk to the Metro and tram station was about 6-7 minutes— easy and so convenient. We always felt safe walking back to our hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, assisting us with everything from changing currency to purchasing transportation tickets (and explaining how the public transportation works in Prague). The breakfast each morning was a highlight. The spread included delicious homemade bread and Prosecco— it was a lovely start to each day. Here’s a tip that we learned the last day and wish we’d known sooner: we had a few tours and trips that started before the breakfast opened at 7:30. We were so sad to miss breakfast on those days. When we were checking out of our hotel on the very last day for an early flight, the desk clerk said that if we had mentioned our early checkout to them the previous day, they would’ve prepared a breakfast for us to take on the go. That’s the kind of personal attention you get at this small hotel. Because there are so few rooms, the staff gets to know you as you come in out, making it a comfortable and welcoming place each day!
