⭐️⭐️☆ (1.5 out of 5 stars) The positive reviews on the friendliness of the staff as well as the parking space offer I can confirm. However, the condition of the room is not acceptable – specifically a defective toilet seat. For a hotel that charges the full nightly rate, this is an unacceptable performance degradation. A working toilet is an absolute basic equipment. I reported the defect twice personally at the reception and was put off with “someone comes and takes care”. ➡️ No one came. ➡️ The defect has not been corrected. ➡️ I had to follow the problem – without any results. Kindness does not replace working sanitary equipment. What good is a friendly service if I cannot use the toilet properly? 👉 I therefore explicitly demand a reasonable discount or financial compensation for this stay. The calculation of the full room rate despite this obvious deficiency is not justified. As long as basic defects are not corrected immediately, I can recommend Hotel Michael only to a very limited extent. ⸻ ⭐️⭐️☆ (1.5 out of 5 stars) I can confirm the positive reviews regarding the friendliness of the staff and the parking facilities. However, the condition of the room is unacceptable – specifically a broken toilet seat. For a hotel charging the full room rate, this represents a clear reduction in service quality. A fully functional toilet is a basic requirement. I reported the issue twice at the reception and was told each time “someone will take care of it.” ➡️ No one came. ➡️ The problem was not fixed. ➡️ I had to chase the issue myself – without success. Friendliness does not compensate for non-functioning basic facilities. What is the point of good service if the toilet cannot be properly used? 👉 I therefore explicitly demand an appropriate price reduction or financial compensation for this stay. Charging the full price despite this obvious defect is, in my view, not justified. Until such basic issues are taken seriously and resolved promptly, I can only recommend this hotel with strong reservations

Excellent, very accommodating and help staff. Located near a bus stop for easy access to the main part of Prague within about 40 minutes from stepping out the front door. Rooms are clean and well serviced. Breakfast was great

I was worried this would be too far out of the main area of Prague but less than 10 minute walk to the tram stop and not long and you’re in the old town! So if that is a concern I wouldn’t make it a big one! The staff are wonderful in particular Vita who really looked after us for our duration and the lovely lady at the breakfast buffet (whose name I can’t remember!) the rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfy and the rooms get cleaned daily. There was no big mirror in our room but that isn’t a big deal at all. The breakfast buffet is really nice and varied. The staff on reception are always friendly and helpful with sweets and juices on the counter too. They also helped with taxi transfers too. There is a car park for those who would need it.
