Angelo Hotel Prague

The hotel was very clean. Clean room. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

Given the excellent reviews for the breakfast and the hotel's location, I decided to book from December 29, 2025, to January 2, 2026. I also booked a separate New Year's Eve buffet dinner for 7,000 kronor, equivalent to €291 for two adults and a 5-year-old child. (The child had a cutlet with potatoes, and we had what was left of the roast beef and stew.) Dinner lasted 15 minutes, right at the stroke of midnight, not even a panettone or a complimentary bottle of wine. We also paid for drinks, but after leaving the table at the reception bar, we had to pay anything to wait until midnight. As expected, it was a rip-off. Let's get to the breakfast, which all the reviews said was positive. A classic international buffet, but nothing extravagant, which sets it apart from other 4-star hotels. The price was exorbitant for expectations, at around €235 per night. Room cleanliness was a zero rating when we returned around 3 PM. The room still hadn't been cleaned. In four days, the room was forced to be cleaned twice. Price/quality was insufficient. Staff were not up to par. Payment was required in advance for everything, never adding it to the room bill and then settling the balance. Total incompetence on the part of the owners. Orea is perfectly located close to a huge shopping mall, a metro station, trams stop to take you directly to the Prague center as well as at walking distance to the direct bus to the airport (191 and count a one-hour journey). The room is spacious, clean, decorated with taste and well insulated. The staff at the reception is efficient and friendly. The breakfast welcomes you with a glass of bubbles and is correct, without excess. The sausages were just lukewarm so disappointing for this level of hotel.
