Smaller complex than many but has two lovely pools - a bit cool in November to swim but for a refreshing dip on hot afternoons they were lovely. Apts are well laid out to allow for privacy, fully functioning, well stocked, and CLEAN! I think it depends on the unit however so seek out reviews. The beach is an easy walk from the pool courtyard or a stroll down the corniche to a private beach with better accommodations/bar/staffing as well as restaurants and the small but well stocked grocery store. Rent a bicycle or a golf cart to tour the entire length of the corniche - it's gigantic and many areas still open for very private swimming and sunbathing. We liked it so well we are thinking of buying something here! You are at one end of the corniche so NOT centrally located but it's easy to access anywhere in Sahl Hasheesh from El Andalous and lovely to walk anytime of the day or night.

Unit 139, Al Andalous, Sahl Hasheesh - Beware of the agent Medhat – he is even considered unethical by the locals. Everything was well below our expectations especially since we were paying luxury prices (US$150/day) for substandard accommodation and many things promised were broken or non-existent. Photos and location on booking.com were not accurate. There was no internet - the host delivered a dongle that never worked – he promised to fix it and return the first night, but we never saw him again. Both showers were broken, there is no bath and the toilet was leaking sewage. One sink was emptying directly onto the floor - I was able to temporarily reconnect it. Medhat promised to send a plumber but nothing. Many attempts were made to contact Medhat but he blocked our calls – first he blocked my phone and then our son’s phone when he tried to call for us. The manager of the building could call him, but said he had many complaints about Medhat and it was not their problem – the unit is privately owned. All the curtains were broken and partially off the rod. On arrival, the tv remote had no batteries and there were no dish cloths, toilet paper, coffee maker, BarBQ or cleaning supplies as promised (some things were subsequently provided at our insistence but many other promised things were not – including bath robes, shampoo, etc). The dishes were dirty - cups and saucers were actually stuck together. The beds were not made. We were promised 2 double beds - the second bedroom only had twin beds and there was no sofa bed. There was a broken bedside lamp in one room and a faulty plug that gave me an electrical shock. Equivalent (clean) places where our friends stayed were under US$80/night. There is no restaurant or breakfast on the property as promised and the beach in front of the hotel was not accessible during our stay – we had to walk 500 meters to a beach where we required a letter to enter. We notice that after we left, Medhat dropped the price from US$450 for 3 nights to $195 even though it is the high-volume, orthodox Easter wkend. He has also changed the photos of the unit, which are still not accurate, but do indicate the correct location. We wasted many hours of our vacation trying to rectify the situation with Medhat refusing to respond to calls, messages or emails – nor did he respond to our request for compensation.
